Authentic Greek food
We have been going to Greek Taverna for years, Edgewater at first, now Montclair. My daughter is vegetarian, so we always have their Greek salad, cheeses (Haloumi on the grill, taverna saganaki), their portobello grilled, with tomato sauce and topped with cheese. They make their own dessert, baklava is superb, Always loved it.

BAD BAD BAD, Trust me and PASS
Ordered two chix "specials," yet chef had no clue what they were so dishes came out completely differently than desribed. also, the PRICE we paid was MORE THAN the price on the menu! is that even legal? chix DRY and less than one cutlet portion (with ONLY orzo added to plate) was $16! too many good choices in Montclair to return to this spot!!!

Great Food, Great Consistency
Can't go wrong with the souvlaki in a pita and Greek fries. Delicious and satisfying every time. Nice and cheap too. The real entrees are overpriced but that stuff is like the selections on a diner menu that no one ever orders. I'm also not going to Greek Delights for a $20 steak.
